Great staff, great food, great service and awesome place to stay in provost.
You can experience the best part of the Greenhead Motel without staying overnight - the restaurant. Seriously, the breakfast is good and the sports bar downstairs is unusually nice for middle-of-nowhere Alberta. On the other hand, if you stay, you'll be paying $100 for a room populated with highway noise, beds harder than plywood and lumpy pillows. Guests above and below you will be heard as there is little insulation and it seems only the loudest rig workers stay here. There are no clasps on the doors, so anyone with a key to the deadbolt could potentially enter the room at any time, which is discomforting. It is nice to see, however, that they have started to keep the fridges plugged in. It was not always that way. The only reason I stay here, and continue to do so, is because the company I work for books and pays for the rooms. If it was up to me, I'd stay at any one of the nicer places down the street.
Nice locally owned hotel with renovated rooms. We use them alot for our workers in town.
This is a nice budget motel at reasonable price with the FREE breakfast included! Beds were ok, hard mattresses and old flat pillows that need changing. Not very orthopedic. This is the primary reason for staying so this needs to be kept up to par! Bathroom is probably the 2nd most important. While showering, the tub fills with water while the drain is still unplugged. Plumbing is slow. Again, part of the price we pay right?The rest of the room was actually quite nice. A/C worked well, adequate plug-ins for phone and other devices. Fridge provided ample storage space. The restaurant was very nice and the free breakfast was great except they couldn't get me pancakes for some reason. Oh well, bacon and eggs on toast and hashbrowns is a nice alternative!I've stayed here several times and enjoy the budget pricing and for that I dont expect too much, however the beds need to be comfortable regardless. They are the whole reason for staying. Flat pillows are cheap and easy to replace! When were they last renewed? A bit softer mattress would have made it much nicer. Better than sleeping on the floor!
Food wasn't that great. Way over priced and they charged me way too much for my 2 yr old son.
